We’re back with Bea of Beaquilter for Week 2 of our Mystery Quilt along. Roll up your sleeves and let the fun begin!

Week 2 is fun – we get to cut the fabrics and start sewing! Let’s get to it!

Cutting Directions

(WOF = Width of fabric)movie Monster High: Electrified 2017 trailer

Fabric A: Cut (2) 3 1/8” WOF, cut into (24) 3 1/8” squares, cut diagonally into (48) triangles
Fabric B: Cut (1) 3 1/8” WOF, cut into (8) 3 1/8” squares, cut diagonally into (16) triangle s
Fabric C: Cut (2) 2 5/8” WOF, cut into (16) 2 5/8” squares.
Fabric D: Cut (2) 3 5/8” WOF, cut into (16) 3 5/8” squares
Fabric F: Cut (2) 2 3/8” WOF, cut into 32 2 3/8” squares, sub cut diagonally into (64) triangles

Sewing Instructions

Step 1:
Sew 2 3/8”triangles to edges of small 2 5/8” squares, iron toward triangles. Make 16.

Step 2:
In the same way sew 3 1/8” triangles to the side of the large 3 5/8” square but having 3 of fabric A and 1 of fabric B on each square as shown.
