All of the collections work beautifully with our Island Batik Foundations fabrics. You can find out more about our Foundations that include Basics, Blenders, and Neutrals by visiting Island Batik Foundations.

I have used Island Batiks in 2 projects so far, 1 was the challenge quilt for my guild and it got a first place prize in our guild’s show in the miniature quilts category. The second was for a Block of the Month challenge based on color. I won a 10″ squares pack from a prior Island Batiks event and it was such a pretty blue-green I had to use it as my focus fabric for the block.

I’m a new quilter and I’m just learning about batiks. I think they are different so colorful. I love the ones you make and I don’t know how to put them together. I would love to win a kit with the colors all together . Maybe then I would understand how they work.

My best friend loved to sew and amassed an incredible amount of material. She always told me that I could help myself to anything in her stash, except her batiks! We lost her just before Christmas and I have inherited her stash. Now I can understand her reluctance in not letting anyone have her batiks!Stunning material.
