and Adam love to work with the many talented quilt and garment
designers who they meet at trade shows. The exuberant enthusiasm
which the designers express about working with Island Batik is a
validation to Moira’s talent. Many wonderful pieces have been
created over the years, which Adam says they are delighted to
display in their booth. Island Batik is always willing to
provide fabric to designers, which is of mutual benefit by
helping to present designers’ new patterns and the latest batik
collections in unison. These quilts are then available for shops
to display for trunk shows.
Island
Batik has a flourishing donation program for existing shop hops,
quilt guilds annual events and new stores. They offer Bali
bundles or Bali twist fabric packs which are available
exclusively for promotions, give-a-ways and prizes. Bali
bundles are eight quarter yard cuts in coordinating colors tied
up with ribbon. Bali twists are similar but with a candy cane
twist.
