Cotton
Lines are introduced four times a
year, with the main lines being shown at spring and fall Quilt
Market. Each collection is coordinated in groups of around six
designs, and consists of around 70 new designs. Island Batik
with its vivid colors and contemporary signature has developed a
strong following with quilters. Cotton Batik designs are
usually available to reorder for one year. |

Only the finest quality cotton is used,
which results in a batik fabric that is color fast, machine
washable and pre-shrunk. The cotton base cloth is milled in a
Japanese/Indonesian consortium on the Island of Java.  This
quality cotton is perfect for the quilting industry as well as
the manufacturer. It is available 44”/45” wide either on 12 yard
bolts or rolled on tubes up to 30 yard lengths which are
suitable for the manufacturing industry. Delivery for cotton
Batik is two to three months from the date of order. An in-stock program is available on the solid and multi hand-dyed batik cottons, as well as the batikwheel cottons. |
